Jet Boat

Safety first! That’s why at Skeena River Lodge we use only the best equipment available. Our Jet Boat is a custom made jet boat built by Alumafix, manufactured right here in Hazelton, BC.

This is the ultimate fly fishing Jet Boat, equipped with a 60/40 four stroke Mercury outboard jet motor. Because of its design and light engine, this boat will bring you to spots other big heavy inboard jet boats cannot go.

Raft

We also use a 14 foot AIRE self bailing white water raft. This is the best and safest raft out there. It allows us to navigate around the many big boulders and rapids, in search of Salmon and Steelhead.

We are very proud that Skeena River Lodge is the only Lodge in the Terrace area that is Bob Meiser endorsed! Bob Meiser’s rods are by far ‘the best spey rods ever made!’

At Skeena River Lodge you will have the opportunity to see, feel, cast and fish with the entire lineup of Meiser rods including the MKS, S and Highland series. These rods are available with Meiser reels.

Our rods are also available equipped with Dutch Fly Reels. Dutch reels are handcrafted, limited production reels of impeccable quality and durability.
